The 2017 BET Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday June 25th and some of today’s biggest and brightest entertainers and athletes were at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California to celebrate a year of excellence in black entertainment.
While in L.A. on the 2017 BET Awards Red Carpet, we caught up with Hip-Hop legend/ Bay Area legend Too Short. With much of the sports world focusing on the Bay Area over the past few years, Too Short spoke on the success of the Golden State Warriors and them recently winning their second championship in three years. Know as a big Oakland Raiders fan, Too Short spoke on the upcoming NFL season and Oakland native Marshawn Lynch retuning home to play for the Raiders.
Before concluding our interview, Too Short made sure to inform me that he has been in the booth a lot recently and that he has a new project on the way. Too Short spoke on his upcoming album ‘The Pimp Tape’ which drops this September.
The interview was conducted by HHS1987’s Eldorado. The interview was shot by HHS1987’s Danny Digital.
