Hawks-Bulls-500x279 No Bull: The Atlanta Hawks Fall To The Chicago Bulls In The Final Game of Their 5 Game Road Trip

The Atlanta Hawks (1-4) five game opening road game came to an end last night at the United Center in Chicago with the Hawks falling to the Bulls (91-86).

Things haven’t gone the Hawks way in the their last four games and although their spirits remain high, they need to get back on the winning side of things.

Last night for the Atlanta Hawks, Marco Bellineli was the leading scorer off the bench with 23 points on (5-9) shooting from the three point line. Bellineli has been effective off the bench for the Hawks so far early into the season. Kent Bazemore shot (7-19) from the field finishing with 16 points. Kent have been vocal for the young Hawks teams looking to be the veteran leader the teams needs.

Hawks rookie John Collins continues to impress and add to his young NBA resume. Collins finished the game with 13 points on (5-6) shooting from the field with 5 rebounds. I’m interested to see what Collins does in his first home game on Friday night.

For the Chicago Bulls, last nights victory was their first of the season. Bulls big man Robin Lopez lead the way for Chicago scoring 16 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen finished with 14 points.

The Atlanta Hawks are right back in action Friday October 27th as they host Paul Millsap and the Denver Nuggets.
