Virginia is one of the biggest contributors to the DMV collective and Hip-Hop as a whole. With his new single, Get Up, JaBs aka Blaine Cooz wants to make sure he stakes his claim as one of those mentioned among top VA rappers. One-half of the rap duo JaBs and Jaypee introduces a track that is somewhat of a motivational piece as the emcee encourages us to “get up and go get it” throughout the Skit Fury-produced track. Life is full of up and downs so you have to remember that a setback should be a setup for the get back.
