Warhol.SS just dropped a new track featuring UnoTheActivist on Friday, “War Ready”. It’s off his upcoming debut album, Chest Pains which will be out this Wednesday 11/14
Warhol.SS is a 20 year old Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based artist inspired by his city’s famous “Class of 2012” drill rappers. He started making music in high school, jumping headfirst into the game after graduation and building a massive fanbase on streaming and social media. Though he’s closely associated with the many emerging rappers of the Soundcloud era, Warhol proves that new school rappers need not sacrifice emotion or lyrical depth when crafting absorbing and speaker-knocking bangers. Known for combining immersive trap-style beats and energetic ad-libs with an old-school sense of songwriting and slick lyricism, his debut album Chest Pains finds Warhol.SS coming to his own, unifying his experimental ideas and his commercial ambitions.
Chest Pains will be out on Wednesday 11/14 and features appearances from Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Rico Nasty, UnoTheActivist, and Lil Mosey, as well as production credits from Murda Beatz, Kenny Beats, Cashmoney AP, and Harry Fraud. The new album also features heavy symbolism–the title referring to his rough upbringing in Chicago and the album cover featuring bumble bees, reflecting Warhol‘s status as the “last of a dying breed.”
