The year 2018 is just really getting started and to kick off the month of February, I’m kicking off My new segment entitled “Just Kickin’ It”. In this segment, I’ll be talking with some of today’s biggest athletes and entertainers to get some insight on their favorite sneakers, music, and more.
For episode 1 of “Just Kickin’ It”, I caught up with fellow Philadelphia native/ Toronto Raptors all-star Kyle Lowry. During shoot around of the Raptors practice here in Atlanta, I spoke with Kyle Lowry about his favorite Adidas to wear on and off the court, his predictions on the Philadelphia Eagles playing in Super Bowl 52 and more.
Kyle Lowry isn’t just an all-star on the court, he is also a all-star off the court for his charitable efforts. An alum of Villanova University in the Philadelphia area, I spoke with Kyle on his recent one million dollar donation to the school. Kyle spoke on Villanova’s impact on his life and career and the main reasons he decided to give such a large donation.
Before concluding episode 1 of “Just Kickin’ It” with Kyle Lowry, we also spoke on his pre game music playlist and musician/ businessman Drake’s impact on the city of Toronto and the Toronto Raptors.
