On Thursday August 30th, some of the biggest stars in Hip-Hop and R&B were in Atlanta, GA at The Woodruff Arts Center Symphony Hall for the 2018 BMI/Hip-Hop Awards.
The 2018 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards saluted the top songwriters, producers, publishers and administrators of the past year’s 35 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs in the United States from BMI’s repertoire of more than 13 million musical works. During the night, the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, Producer and Publisher of the Year were all named.
As some of the BMI awards nominees and artist walked the red carpet before the BMI awards, Terrell Thomas spoke with music producer Pierre Bourne
Pierre Bourne and Terrell Thomas spoke on Pierre’s journey and the growth in his sound. Pierre Bourne spoke on the hits he produced this year, working on new projects with Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti his own new project and much more.
