This past week NBA 6th Man of the Year & LA Clipper guard, Lou Williams and the Lou Williams Foundation, held their 14th annual basketball camp at his alma mater, South Gwinnett High School, in Atlanta. This acclaimed summer camp hosted over 180 kids (ages 6-15) for a week-long training camp. Each day the campers spent the day learning fundamental basketball skills from Lou Williams, Chuck Ellis and their counseling staff.
To end the four day camp, Hip-Hop superstar/ Migos own Quavo came pass the camp to speak to the campers and show them some love.
After Quavo spoke with the kids, These Urban Times’ own Terrell Thomas caught up with Mike to discuss a few topics. Terrell and Quavo spoke on the Atlanta Hawks upcoming 2018-19 NBA season, Hawks rookie Trae Young, Vince Carter joining the Hawks, Julio Jones reporting to training camp, the Atlanta Falcons upcoming season and more.
