This week marks the 9th anniversary of the passing of Guru, the highly celebrated lyricist from the legendary, Gangstarr. His former creative partner and producer, Solar, offers up an unreleased Guru/Gangstarr single today – which was slated for the unreleased Gangstarr and Jazzmatazzz album series.
It’s been nine years since Guru’s passing, due to cancer, and Hip Hop suffered a tremendous loss. But his music continues to keep his legacy alive. Listen below.
