West Coast OG, Spice-1 announced his forthcoming project, “Platinum OG” yesterday with the Lil Eazy E, MC Eight and Nawfside Outlaw-assisted first single, “Studio Gangstas.” Coming out via Elder Entertainment, the 22-track project features Too Short, Devin The Dude, Rappin 4-Tay, Hussein Fatal, Big Syke. Other appearances include Big Mike, Richie Rich, B-Legit, Yukmouth and The Outlawz, whose most recent album Elder Entertainment also released.
“Studio Gangstas” is a C-walk down memory lane, using the mega classic “Real Muthfuckin G’s” as a sample. The 1994 hit record from Eazy E was embroiled in the beef between Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eazy E and Ruthless Records.
