Will Smith as Genie in Aladdin is going to be epic.
The highly anticipated remake of the Disney classic hits theaters this Friday – after a successful week for DJ Khaled and the release of his “Father of Asahd.” Joining Will Smith – who plays “Genie” – the two unveil their updated version of “Friend Like Me.” 1992 seems like ages ago, but Aladdin remains a classic. Originally performed by Robin Williams, the song is given a modern twist with the help of Smith and Khaled.
Composed by Alan Menken, the soundtrack is available now on all streaming platforms.
