Last week, Hot 97 hosted it’s 5th Annual Hot For The Holidays concert – the hottest holiday concert of the season. Packing out Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, once again, Hot 97 played host to a sold out crowd of Hip Hop and R&B fans. Opening the show, Hot 97 Who’s Next winner, Rich-P, warmed up the stage with his introductory set. His energetic performance set the tone for what was an epic line-up of today’s hottest artists. Hot 97’s legendary DJ’s and on-air hosts, Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, Nessa, TT Torres, Kast One, DJ Enuff, DJ Bobby Trends, DJ Camilo, DJ Wallah, DJ Juanyto and DJ Drewski, also touched the stage throughout the evening.
Headlining acts, Layton Greene, The Bonfire, Wale and Khalid each took turns setting the stage ablaze with their fiery Hip Hop and R&B jams. Wale had the whole building on their feet while he performed classics such as “Lotus Flower Bomb,” “No Hands,” and his current hit single, “On Chill.” Khalid, who closed out the show, truly showcased his soulful vocals in a medley of his hits – backed by his amazing crew of dancers (and friends).
Amidst the show, Peter Rosenburg had the entire theater roaring as he announced that President Trump has officially been impeached!
