New Haven, Connecticut native Jun released his visual Hurt in late fall 2019. He grew up in the studio watching his uncle work, but interestingly around gospel music influences. His transition into his specific lane of hip-hop was subtle, growing up on 50 Cent, and eventually expanding his selection with the likes of Drake and Tyler The CreatorHurt is full of melodies and flows, convincingly enough providing a fusion of R&B and trap music.

This video followed up Jun’s earlier project “Hard Work + Pressure” which released last July. Hurt is one of the most popular songs on the EP, and the video has garnered over 10k views on youtube, and counting.

Following the Hurt visual release, Jun also recently released his newest EP called “The Gift.” The EP provides an in-depth glance to Jun himself, following up with some similar vulnerable flows that Hurt has as well. His sound is consistent, which may take him further in the game.

The Gift is available on all streaming platforms. To keep up with Jun, follow him on Instagram:
