Gucci Mane is without a doubt the best Atlanta rapper who has ever lived. Zone 6 rapper has paved the way for many rappers based only off its influence in trap music, which is why Atlanta has some of the most prominent hip hop names. Aside from releasing over 75 mixtapes and EPs since 2005, Gucci is one of the most prolific artists in rap. Only Jet Life CEO Curren$y can even be compared to Wop. 1017’s front man releases his new album today, Ice Daddy.

Two days before Father’s Day, this album releases at the perfect time. The rapper from Atlanta, Ice, and his newborn son, X, have the perfect opportunity to celebrate the release and the holiday together. Gucci and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir have a child together by the name of Ice Davis. His dripped-out baby boy became the cover art for his album after Gucci was inspired by the birth of his child. The couple has revealed their son publicly for the first time, and it fits perfectly to say the least.

Over the last two years between his last album, Woptober II, and his most recent, Ice Daddy, Gucci has polished his skills as a record executive. The label that was once the home of Waka Flocka and OJ The Juiceman is now thriving with youthful energy anchored by rising star Pooh Shiesty, who was named February’s R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month.

Among the 17 records on Ice Daddy, you’ll find Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Pooh Shiesty, 2 Chainz, E-40, Young Dolph, Project Pat, and many more!
