Over the past few years, Sacramento rappers have put their city on the map and show the entire industry that they should be taken seriously as one of the most creative and influential cities. Rappers Kris Woods & ZU prove that point on their latest single “Go Wit It,”; an infectious, catchy single on the forefront of their latest project “Outspoken, Vol. 1”. The project is a culmination of their entire team’s hard work, Spoken Status Entertainment, led by managers Andre & Marcus Robinson.
Today the duo drops off the visuals to the single, and we are excited to see how fans react and their next moves. The playful lyrics in the song are a nod to their charismatic personalities and desire for people to take life a little less seriously amid all of the madness surrounding us. What inspired Kris was “just being around fun people and creating good energy because I make music from my own life experiences, and I wanted to make a record that people can bounce to wherever they’re at.”
The instrumental is packed with super smooth melodies and hard-hitting bass drums that are sure to bring the listener back wanting to bump this record over and over. This is the first music video from the collective’s debut project, and we are looking forward to seeing what is next for these rising Sac-town superstars.
