Lil-Wayne "Thought I Was Gonna Stop" visual from Papaoose and Lil Wayne

The Brooklyn rapper has been creative with his output this year – he’s released an EP during each month of the year, collaborating with artists like E-40, Jim Jones, Vado, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, Anthony Hamilton, Remy Ma, Smoke DZA, among others. Pap has decided to go back and revisit the video for “Thought I Was Gonna Stop,” a Timbaland-produced effort in which he shares high level bars with none other than Lil Wayne, who counters the East Coast rival with an array of amusing lines including:

In an accompanying visual, StreetHeat presents the two rappers in different color-coded rooms, equipped with some CGI to make their words match up. For example, one scene shows Papoose zapped to a ballpark for one of his baseball analogies. Throughout this short clip, we can also see a couple of young dancers.

Featuring some of your favorite artists, Lil Wayne returns to his mixtape era work ethic by snatching up features on tracks with Logic, G-Eazy, Run The Jewels, AZ, Moneybagg Yo, Tyler, Drake, Westside Gunn and The Creator among many others. If he is still working on Tha Carter VI and I Am Not A Human Being III, we have high hopes for his next body of work.
