Amanda Gorman, who is a 22-year old Black woman from Los Angeles, California, created history in America by becoming the youngest to perform poetry during an inaugural ceremony. On 20th January, Gorman reached the podium after the swearing in of the president and the vice president, to deliver an original composition titled “The Hill We Climb.”
