Ashanti releases new song, “Falling For You” TODAY. In this heartfelt and sultry song, Ashanti stays true to her signature style and gives us a little sauce as she tells us, she will no longer fall for you anymore.
Yung Bleu provides the modern, R&B beat, with a 2022 twist, and also plays double duty as a co-writer on the song.
The video’s creative direction from Kenashia “Shia” Douglas, gives us a look into a relationship. Ashanti visits a tarot card reader and she turns over three cards that dictate the journey of a relationship. All the trials and tribulations, and then getting justice at the end.
“When Bleu and I wrote this song, we wanted to keep my same writing style and visual and add some 2022 heat to it. I know everyone can relate to the ups and downs of a relationship, and sometimes know you will not fall for the same things over and over again,” says Ashanti.
