In the new single, HD overlays his sharp, quick-fire rhymes over menacing piano keys and bellowing drums. Within the track, HD calls on listeners sleeping on the rap artist to prepare for what he has planned next for the world of hip hop.
The release of “Wake Em Up” underscores a massive week for HD, who recently joined the Roc Nation family earlier this week.
