Bay Area rapper & producer P-Lo today dropped his new single “Players Holiday ‘25,” featuring fellow Bay Area artists Larry June, Kamaiyah, Saweetie, LaRussell, G-Eazy, Thuy, & YMTK. The track is out via independent record label EMPIRE and is the first release from his upcoming EP, For The Soil, a project in collaboration with Golden State Entertainment, the music, entertainment and content vertical under the Golden State Warriors, celebrating Bay Area culture ahead of NBA All-Star 2025 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In “Players Holiday ‘25,” P-Lo brings together the iconic sounds and voices of the Bay, paying homage to both past and present music icons. The EP will feature additional legendary artists, including E-40 and Too Short, and spotlight Bay Area culture through the dynamic lens of the Golden State Warriors.
The release of For The Soil represents a deeper partnership between P-Lo and the Warriors, who have featured his music prominently at Chase Center. The collaboration celebrates the connection between hip-hop and basketball, with P-Lo’s music embodying the team’s energy and Bay Area pride.
