Arucca Flyboy today announces the release of Stone Soup Vol. 1, the label’s third official compilation project, available now on all major streaming platforms. The project continues a tradition that began with 80’s Babies, hosted by DJ Vlad and released January 21, 2010 as the label’s first release and first compilation, and continued with Gone But Never Forgotten, which debuted on the iTunes charts the day it dropped — September 14, 2021 — peaking at #23 on the iTunes Global Hip-Hop Album Charts.
Stone Soup Vol. 1 arrives as the third chapter in that lineage — a full compilation built, as its title suggests, from everyone bringing something to the pot. The project features label founder Tjuan Benafactor alongside DJ Banger, Lil Flip, CyCy Couture, Nahlidge Bone, Chickii Chick, Lay-Z Boy, DeeHerm DaVoice, and more, with production handled by DJ Banger, Benafactor, Mixking Magic, Joe November & more.
