Nicki Minaj will go down in history as one of the greatest emcees, whether male or female, to ever pick up a mic; her consistency & growth within hip-hop in undeniable. Since she asked for the crown, its been her’s & that’s even with her crossing over to different genres & dominating those platforms as well.
YMCMB’s first lady is set to release her third studio LP, The Pinkprint before the end of the 4th quarter (December 15th). Every record we’ve heard released from the project thus far has went viral (as always) & properly sets the pace for what to expect from “Nicki The Ninja”.
As you can see in the photo above, Minaj stands fiercely for the second cover of the December/January issue for COMPLEX magazine in her shoot with photographer Vijat Mohindra. Following her photoshoot, she sat down with COMPLEX News Editor Lauren Nostro in Hollywood to discuss The Pinkprint. She very bluntly compares her forthcoming project to one of Jay-Z’s most definitive works, The Blueprint & she’s very open & expressive on her feelings towards her project, as she takes pride in the handwork & effort that has been placed into it. She’s a superstar; no if, and’s or but’s about it.
