The 2014 NFL regular season is officially over and with the end of the NFL season comes the end of employment for several coaches around the league. Earlier today, the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears all fired their former head coaches and will now begin the process of finding a new leader. Rex Ryan, Mike Smith and Marc Trestman are out as head coaches for their respective teams. All three teams finished the year under .500. The Jets finished the year (4-12), the Chicago Bears finished (5-11) and the Atlanta Falcons finished (6-10). Not only did a few coaches hit the chopping block today, the Jets GM John Idzik and Chicago Bears GM Phil Emery were also given their walking papers.
