They want that Pretty Flacko..
A lot of the new era of rappers have been in talks to be featured in film, but have yet to do so. A$AP Rocky can scratch that off of his to-do list now. Pharrell Williams & P. Diddy have linked up to produce a new movie titled “Dope” & have casted Pretty Flacko as their leading actor, making this his debut on the big screen.
Dope is set to premiere tomorrow, January 22 through February 1 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The film tells a Hip-Hop story of a group of high school Seniors who come up in the roughness of Inglewood, California & meet a few drug dealers who would change their perspective on life forever. Diddy & Pharrell & the producer genius behind the flick while Rick Famuyiwa displays his brilliance in the Director’s chair. Forest Whitaker also played a huge role in the production.
Alonside Rocky, Tyga, Casey Veggies, Zoë Kravitz, Keith Stanfield, Vince Staples, Chanel Iman and Shameik Moore, & many others have been casted to play a part in the movie. Watch the short trailer below.
Almost reminds you of a Spike Lee joint.
