The ultimate swindle.
At least that’s what one fan has pretty much described Kanye West’s fraudulent claims. If you all remember, Kanye initially Tweeted on February 15th that his album “Pablo would ONLY be sold on Tidal. As a result, TIDAL made gains off false statements at a time when the company was struggling. How convenient.
The fan, Justin Baker-Rhett, is furious about getting tricked into signing up for a $9.99-a-month service. He also said that the “scheme” nearly tripled Tidal’s subcribers and added millions to their value.
“You can’t trick people into paying money and giving up personal information just because the company is struggling,” said Baker-Rhett’s lawyer.
Kanye, Jay and Tidal have not made any comments on this yet.
My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.
