Over this past weekend, the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL) took the city by storm with their celebrity tournament. Held at Atlanta’s _Rosel Fann Recreational Center, dozens of fans filled the stands to watch some of their favorite NBA players go head to head on the court.
On Saturday, teams 2Commas went against team STL with 2Commas coming out on top. The second game of the day was between TIG Records and Glory 718 with the hip hop label TIG winning with a 16 point lead. The last Saturday game was Good Life Music Group and C-4/The Bank Recording Studios facing off with Good Life taking the victory.
Sunday, the NBA players showed up in full effect to lead their teams to victory. Game one kicked off with Angel McCoughtry’s The Atlanta Dream Team facing Lou Williams of the Lakers Uptown Sounds. After an intense game, Angel’s team took home the win. The Skill Factory and Street Execs closed out the Sundays festivities with TSF winning the final game. We cannot wait to see how this league unfolds in these upcoming weeks!
