Lupe Fiasco connects with producer, Tek.Lun, for his latest release. “Kneeling’ On Needles” seems to be an ode to former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. He also references Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” and Chance the Rapper, who recently donated $2.2M to Chicago public schools! As you all know, Kaepernick continues to receive both praise and backlash for choosing to kneel during the National Anthem – as a protest to police brutality, especially amongst the Black community.
