Beyonce has just inked a $50 million deal with Pepsi. The new deal will help promote her next album (which is due September 2013), sponsor her Super Bowl halftime show, as well as display the singer in advertisements and limited edition soda cans. I am not mad at Beyonce finding an album sponsor like most people do with mix tapes these days. The power of a company outside the label promoting her album, and overall brand … this should be nice.
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
