On Saturday July 1st during the 2017 Essence Festival Events, HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas was on the scene at the Netflix “The Incredible Jessica James” Essence Festival Premiere at the Civic Theater in downtown New Orleans.
While on the Red Carpet, we caught up with Atlantic Records artist Sir The Baptist. Sir The Baptist spoke on his new 16 track album ‘Saint or Sinner’. Sir The Baptist gave us some insight on the features and creation of ‘Saint or Sinner’. With features from Killer Mike, Brandy, Michelle Williams and others, Sir The Baptist spoke on returning to the essence of soulful music.
Set to perform at Essence Fest and then hit the road on his own tour, Sir The Baptist spoke on the importance of performing at events like Essence Fest that highlight black excellence and he gave his opinion on Jay Z’s new project “4:44”.
