For the Sixers who looked very impressive in the first half of action, Ben Simmons flirted with a triple-double finishing the night with 23 points, 12 assist and 8 rebounds. Simmons controlled the pace early in the game and was huge in the 47 point first quarter. Sixers big man Joel Embiid scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds on the night. If the Sixers run with this pace more often, things will be very interesting in the Eastern conference.

For the Golden State Warriors, their (47-15) Third quarter proved that they are still the best team in the NBA. Warriors MVP Stephen Curry has a monster performance in that third quarter. Curry exploded for 20 points in the first half and finished the night with 35 points. NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant finished the night with 27 points and after the game spoke on the potential of the young Sixers teams and the play/ trash talking skills of Joel Embiid.
The Philadelphia Sixers continue their home stand as they welcome the Utah Jazz to Philly on Monday night.
