Frequent collaborators, Kanye West and Pusha T, are being hit with a lawsuit by FAME Enterprises, Inc – who claim that the Yeezy produced “Come Back Baby” illegally samples their production on George Jackson’s “I Can’t Do Without You.” They alleged that “over 35% of the entire sound recording is comprised of unauthorized, unlicensed samples,” and that they would’ve never agreed to license the song due to its message of drug addiction and selling drugs.
FAME demands a jury trial – amount they are suing for to be determined by the tier of fact in this case PLUS statutory fines, costs, interest and expenses.
