Kayla Rowe aka “Heartbreakkay” has decided to take her pain and turn it into passion. After being heartbroken too many times, she decided to put her pain on paper and over the instrumental. The Sarasota, Florida native went from making singing videos on Instagram to making melodies in the studio. Her relatable lyrics has been one of the key secrets to her success. She’s always had dreams of becoming a singer. Much of her influence is credited to Beyoncé and Mary J Blige. She was moved by their ability to share their emotional stories over instrumentals, therefore influencing her to do the same.

In 2016, a Florida producer known as “Xo Eros” sought out for a female vocalist to place on a catchy rap song. Kayla’s angelic voice on an Instagram clip caught his attention. From that point on the duo blessed many tracks with her voice and his incredible ear for production. The rest is history!

Many await her breakthrough EP titled “Heartbreak Kay”. From her troubles with her ex boyfriend to everyday struggles that women all around the face. Many people will surely relate to this compilation of songs. Once a mad black woman, now she’s doing the heartbreaking! Her latest single “Why I Loved You” describes this plot twist.
