On Thursday August 29th, some of the biggest stars in Hip-Hop and R&B were in Atlanta, GA at the Byers Theatre – Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center for the 2019 BMI/Hip-Hop Awards.
The 2019 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards saluted the top songwriters, producers, publishers and administrators of the past year’s 36 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs in the United States from BMI’s repertoire of more than 13 million musical works.
The night was also a celebration of R&B living legend Brandy Norwood as BMI honored her great career. As some of the BMI awards nominees and artist walked the red carpet before the BMI awards, Terrell Thomas spoke with Hip-Hop star/ songwriter K Camp.
Looking to finish the year 2019 with a bang, K Camp spoke on the success of his record “Lottery”, Brandy Norwood’s career and his plans for his label Rare Sounds as they prepare for the year 2020.
