Award-winning artist, author, and advocate Ross Victory joins forces with Bronx-born singer, songwriter, and choreographer MARQUE for “Savage”, a bold, unapologetic new single that blends West Coast Hip-Hop swagger with magnetic hooks and fearless lyricism. Out Thursday, August 14, 2025, on all major streaming platforms, “Savage” is a high-octane summer anthem of the thrill of the chase, sexual empowerment, and dominance.
The collaboration sparked in 2024 at the LGBT Center in Los Angeles, where Ross was a panelist for a bisexual pride event called BiYou and MARQUE was a featured performing artist. “I knew ‘Savage’ was a banger, but I needed a collaborator who could keep up with the energy and bring a melodic edge,” Ross shares. “I thought of MARQUE who I had met. We express ourselves differently as artists, but at the core of it is authenticity and musicality. Savage is the result.”
Over a pulsing beat laced with West Coast bounce from Track Pros, Ross delivers slick, confident bars that flip between playful taunts and explicit declarations, while MARQUE’s verse adds an intoxicating blend of R&B smoothness and razor-sharp edge. Together, they create a push-and-pull dynamic that’s as seductive as it is relentless.
“Savage is about owning your desires without apology,” says Ross. “It’s brash, it’s hot, it’s in-your-face, it’s the kind of energy you feel when you walk into the room knowing you run it. As fluid men, we are rarely take up that space and have fun doing it.”
MARQUE, known for choreographing for artists like Ylona Garcia, Ina Bravo, and Tony Sunshine, and performing alongside Alaska Thunderfuck (RuPaul’s Drag Race) and Ty Dolla $ign, brings his commanding stage presence into the booth. With influences ranging from Aaliyah to Blink-182, his delivery on “Savage” adds both melody and menace, bridging his pop/R&B roots with Ross’s West Coast hip-hop foundation.
