Recently we covered new Christian arrist “TRUTH” aka Penkirby his real name is Joseph Carroll, born in Brewton AL, raised in Pensacola FL. Father is Joe Carroll and Mother is Kenya Carroll l. He is a Christian artist and songwriter, RnB singer/ rapper. Truth is really passionate about music. My Artist name is TRUTH., Because he dealt with being true to himself whether it be in a relationship, friendship, or in the world generally.
He wants let people know the real him and show his vulnerability through his songwriting and say the things he couldn’t say at the moment. Truth take’s inspiration form artist like Bryson Tiller, Lilbaby, Roddy Rich and Tink. Truth has been into music since he was little started singing in choir at church as well as in school and played the piano since Truth was nine years old. Truth started songwriting when I got into college at the University of Alabama but before then Truth was really into Poetry.
