In what may be the saddest news in sport today, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will miss the reminder of the 2013-14 NBA season. The 25 year former MVP had surgery this morning to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee in Chicago but rehab will keep Rose out all season. Rose’s surgery was performed by Dr. Brian Cole, the same doctor who performed the surgery on Rose’s left knee.This is devastating for Bulls fans and Derrick Rose himself who just returned to the Bulls lineup after missing last season with a injury in his left knee.
