Rapper Joe Budden is on the Hudson County Police Department’s list of “Deadbeat Dads”, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest after he failed to dole out nearly $13,000 to his babies’ momma for child support.
According to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department Chief John Bartucci, they’ve been on Budden’s boot heels since he dipped out on a hearing in May, and that he’s up to pull a hefty $12,983 wad of bills from his pocket to settle the matter. “Deadbeat Dads”–something about that title seems so wrong, and yet so right. My thoughts: it’s the perfect set-up for a future concept album.
Joe’s no stranger to the charges—he was arrested August 5th of last year for the same “crime”.
In more important news, Budden’s Mood Muzik 4 mixtape drops next week (Oct. 26th), and so long as the Jersey cops don’t interfere with the release, I’ve got no complaints.
