I had a great time today backstage at annual “Roots Picnic” 2012. This is the first year they decided to turn the picnic into a two day event. I got there around 8pm and for the three hours I was there I was able to network with tons of artists, people in the industry, friends and more. Did I mention backstage had free beer, food, and tons of networking opportunities??? If your an artist, manager, store owner, blogger, photographer, or anything music related you need to pay whoever to get a backstage pass at The Roots Picnic. Everyone is someone or is trying to be someone is there backstage networking with whoever comes up to them.
