Last night, the Miami Heat paid homage to one of the greatest players in NBA history. The Miami Heat celebrated the career of NBA great Shaquille O’Neal by retiring his number 32 jersey. Shaq was a member of the Miami Heat when they won their first NBA championship in 2006. Shaq joins Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway as former players who have had their jersey retired by the Miami Heat.
