Nets-500x279 NBA: Brooklyn Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks (3-8-17) (Preview)

On Wednesday March 8th, the (34-29) Atlanta Hawks welcome the (11-51) Brooklyn Nets to Philips Arena in game five of the Hawks current six game home stand.

The Hawks have struggled recently losing six out of their last eight games. The Hawks have played some pretty tough competition as of lately and have looked at periods but overall their performance hasn’t resulted into victories. The Hawks are most recently coming off of a tough loss on Monday night to the Golden State Warriors (119-111) in a game where Dennis Schroder was benched for a nearly the entire second half of action.

The Brooklyn Nets are the worst team in the NBA with a record of (11-51). Former Atlanta Hawks assistant coach Kenny Atkinson is the head coach of the Nets so it will be interesting to see Atkinson face his former team. The Brooklyn Nets are coming off of a (122-109) victory on Monday night against the Memphis Grizzlies and they are looking to keep that momentum up tonight. The Hawks have won their last four games at Philips Arena versus the Brooklyn Nets and need a win tonight to end their current three game losing streak.

The Brooklyn Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks matchup will tip at 7:30pm live from Philips Arena. If your in the Atlanta area you can watch the game on Fox Sports South or listen to the game on the radio at 92.9 the game.Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news.
