Eminem’s biological father, Marshall Bruce Mathers, Jr, has passed away according to sources close to the family. Earlier this week, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Marshall Bruce Mathers suffered heart attack while at home.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has never hid the fact that he’s had a lifelong grudge against his own dad – even mentioning him in lyrics and how he’s never met him. In 2001, Bruce published a letter to his Eminem in a newspaper explaining his side of the story – stating that it was Eminem’s mom, Debbie, who kept them apart.
“My fa***t father must’ve had his panties up in a bunch. Cos he split, I wonder if he even kissed me goodbye. No I don’t, on second thought I just f**kin’ wish he would die. I look at Hailie and I couldn’t picture leaving’ her side.”
