Run-The-Jewels The "never look back" music video sees Run The Jewels amidst a zombie invasion

The New York-based rappers Killer Mike and El-P are known collectively as Run The Jewels. As part of the fourth installment of their self-titled album series, Run The Jewels released an 11-track offering with contributions from a variety of artists Greg Nice, Mavis Staples, Pharrell Williams, 2 Chainz, Zack de la Rocha, DJ Premier, and Josh Homme. During its first week of release, 38,000 album equivalent units sold made the project a critical and commercial success for the duo. It was their first top ten on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Adult Swim youth network hosted a two-day virtual festival last weekend, featuring Lil Baby and Karol G as well as Angel Olsen, Alessia Cara, Flying Lotus, 21 Savage, and 070 Shake. As well as the performances, viewers had the opportunity to view discussions panels, interviews, and exclusive videos. Run The Jewels premiered their latest video from their album RTJ4 for “never look back.” The video was also produced by Wilder Zoby and Little Shalimar . Both the artists and the track reflect on their pasts and reaffirm their focus for the future:

John Hillcoat follows the lyrics of “never look back” with a clip he developed based on George A. Romero’s classic black-and-white horror film Night of the Living Dead, as well as fending off hordes of zombies throughout.
