unnamed-71-400x500 AFROPUNK Announces Fashion Activations & Brooklyn Museum Partnership Ahead of BK 2022 Festival

AFROPUNK is dedicated to highlighting Black creativity and experience in all aspects of culture, from music and art to food and fashion. With the first AFROPUNK Brooklyn since 2019 happening during this year’s New York City Fashion Week, the game-changing brand is preparing for several fashion-themed activations that highlight Black influence in the fashion and culture industries. AFROPUNK Brooklyn 2022 hits Commodore Barry Park on September 10-11.

AFROPUNK Brooklyn Museum Ticket Bundle
AFROPUNK announces its new partnership with The Brooklyn Museum for the AFROPUNK/Virgil Abloh: “Figures Of Speech” ticket bundle. This bundle will allow fans to access both the festival and exhibit at a discounted cost not available anywhere else. Bundle purchasers will be able to purchase anyday/anytime tickets to the exhibit, while current festival ticket holders can use the discount code BrooklynBaby to purchase timed tickets.

The late visionary artist and designer Virgil Abloh has reshaped how we understand the role of fashion, art, design, and music in contemporary culture. Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” is the first museum exhibition devoted to Abloh’s work and spans two decades of his practice. Newly added for the Brooklyn Museum’s presentation are never-before-seen objects from the artist’s archive, as well as a “social sculpture,” which draws upon Abloh’s background in architecture. Exhibition is on view now through January 29, 2023.

Ticket Bundle Price
Weekend + Virgil Abloh Exhibit – $170 ($20 off)
Saturday Single Day + Virgil Abloh Exhibit – $115 ($10 off)
Sunday Single Day + Virgil Abloh Exhibit – $130 ($10 off)
