Things get steamy in the new video for Usher and Summer Walker’s collaborative single, “Come Thru.” The Lacey Duke directed clip follows the R&B singers to Atlanta where they take over the 285 Flea Market at night. Dressed in black latex, amid a foggy setting with neon lights, Summer meets up with Usher as they show off their moves – Usher clad in all-white.
As far as the production of the single goes, London on da Track did an amazing job sampling Usher’s 1997 hit “You Make Me Wanna” – originally produced by Jermaine Dupri, who makes a cameo in the video.
Congrats are also in order for Summer and Usher as the single was recently certified gold. For Summer, her debut album, “Over It,” which includes the single on the tracklist, has peaked at the number two spot on the Billboard 200. From one of our posts made back in November, we reported here on HipHopSince1987 that Summer also has a collaboration cooking with Chris Brown. Stay tuned in for that..
