What do NFL teams give season ticket holders who haven’t had a winning season in 4 years? The option of buying your home teams new uniform. Well at least Jacksonville Jaguar fans now have that option.
Today the Jacksonville Jags have announced they will have a new team logo as well as new team Nike uniforms moving into this 2013 NFL season. Jacksonville is home to one of the largest military areas in the United States so in honor of the military surrounding that area the Jags have decided to pay homage and create more of a military or Jaguar on the hunt feel to their uniforms.
The Jaguars new owner Shahid Khan released this statement:
“These uniforms balance our tradition with the future. The military-style badge on the front of the jersey speaks directly to the strong relationship we have with our hometown of Jacksonville. These new uniforms leave no doubt about our brand essence of being proud, bold and committed.”
The new Nike Jacksonville Jaguars uniforms will be available to the public Friday in retail locations and Thursday online.
