Tonight’s week 12 ESPN Monday night football matchup features RG3 and the (3-7) Washington Redskins hosting Vernon Davis and the (6-4) San Francisco 49ers. The Washington Redskins came into the season with high hopes but a losing record can quickly turn the locker room sour. There is a on going beef between RG3 and his head coach Mike Shannon that could result in Shannon losing his job after the season and many of Robert Griffin’s teammates are losing faith in his ability to lead. The 49ers are having problems of their own. If the playoffs started today, the niners would be watching them from home. After back to back loses against the Panthers and Saints, the 49ers must win tonight against the Redskins just to stay in the playoff race. Injuries have effected the 49ers early but if they can find a way to win a few more games, they should be getting a few starters back at full strength before the end of the year. Tonight’s game in my mind won’t even be close. The Redskins defense can’t stop a nose bleed and the 49ers offense is looking to get rolling again. I expect Frank Gore to rush over 22 times for over 125 yards and I expect Vernon Davis to make a statement in tonights game recording 3 touchdowns. Just when Redskins fans thought the season couldn’t get any worst, It will. 49ers 33 Redskins 10
