In light of his resurgence into the spotlight, Hot 97 throws it back this Thursday with Funkmaster Flex’s 2004 interview with Dave Chapelle. The interview took place at a time when Chapelle’s “Chapelle Show” hit its peak. The audio recording sheds light, once again, on Chapelle’s success with his (highly missed) TV show:
“As of 2006, the first season DVD set (of the Chapelle Show) was the best-selling TV series set of all time.”
